Bio

Influenced by hardcore punk, American folk, Spanish and Mediterranean style guitar playing, The Taalbi Brothers sound erupts into raw and awakening music.

Jump BackgroundMade possible by the bonds of blood and channeled through two Flamenco styled guitars, they carry these edgy, complex and electric behaviors to the stage, shattering all typical notions of Flamenco-inspired guitar playing.

The first song the brothers wrote was formed from an improvisation after days of busking with very limited material. That song “Freestyle” was later placed in the season 4 finale of AMC Television's Emmy® Award-Winning drama Breaking Bad, accomplishing 2:30 of constant airplay to millions of viewers. "Freestyle" then reached 2nd on the iTunes world music charts.

Most recently, the title-track from their "Ameksa" EP was hand picked for a televised dance on ABC by Dancing With the Stars' choreographer & pro dancer, Derek Hough, for the return of the Macy's Stars of Dance. The iconic dance features acclaimed dancer/actress Kathryn McCormick (So You Think You Can Dance, Step Up), and "Ameksa" was given a custom-remix from EDM group and production team, District 78.

The future forecast for the Taalbi Brothers confirms the musical influences that inspire them will keep them writing, recording and performing.  The fans of the Taalbi Brothers have an international commitment to sharing a love for the world's music.
